Japan Public Relations Institute (JPRI) has developed an optimal PR model with a focus on government-related organizations, independent administrative corporations, local governing bodies, NPOs and other public companies, designed to build good relations between these groups and the community. Masayo NagaiBeginning her career as a newspaper journalist, Masayo eventually transferred her skills to a career as a House of Representatives legislative aid, building a vast network of media and public affairs contacts. Masayo joined Inoue Public Relations in 2003 and moved to JPRI in 2005. She has been responsible for many public sector clients and worked on projects for the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Athens 2004 Olympic Torch Relay, The International Association of Ports and Harbors, The Asia Foundation, Buy California Marketing Agreement USA, the Japanese Government, and the World Bank. Masayo has a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from Columbia University, New York, and was the recipient of the Asia Pacific PR Week Awards 2006 in the marketing and communications category.
