Washington, DC-based Media & Communications Strategies (MAC Strategies) takes decisive action and provides stellar counseling to help clients control their communications goals. Scott Sobel, president and cofounder of MCS has an extensive background in national and international crisis, litigation, government, corporate and news media communications. He is an award-winning former journalist with a shelf full of EMMY's, Sigma Delta Chi, AP and regional journalism awards. Scott is a Counselor's Academy member of the Public Relations Society of America and a member of the Investigative Reporters and Editors Association.
He has led teams representing clients such as: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc., Tele-communications, Inc., many premier law firms, health care clients like the chairman of John Hopkins Medical School, various universities, an order of the Catholic Church, HVB Bank, a national wind farm issue client, entertainment and sports celebrities and various former US congressmen. He is a former public relations executive with AT&T Broadband and a litigation PR agency. Scott is considered a top media training guru and can regularly be seen on Capitol Hill preparing and assisting clients for testimony or presentations.
